Two perennial Western Conference contenders with injury-ravaged lineups face off on one other's favorite holidays when the Golden State Warriors play the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday afternoon.
The Warriors have lost seven of 10 and the Grizzlies two straight as they prepare for their first of three season matches.
NBA player Draymond Green is expected to play after missing 13 games due to suspension, according to ESPN and The Athletic Sunday.
Green missed three additional games after his Jan. 7 reinstatement to get in shape.
The Warriors are 8-8 without him.
Warriors coach Steve Kerr stressed that Green must improve upon his return.
